So I decided to make a thread about the best battle stories you've got. I'd love to hear them...I'm honestly amused by this game and its always so funny when things happen just right to produce an interesting result.
Here's one from mine:
So last night it was on...Skirmish mode, I was wearing my logi juggernaut fitting and I ran up on the big orange tubing inside the compound near the normal "B" objective (the one with two flights of stairs surrounding it) and I placed one tiny little remote explosive.
I ran around, AR'd some folks...got killed, respawned and then I saw it....glistening like an angel with a halo. Right where I had placed my one little dinky remote explosive....there stood 6 baddies, including 1 heavy with a heavy ass kicking machine gun.
;) a smile slithered its way across my face....I cue up the boomer and BOOM!

so 310wpts with one remote explosive....yeah yeah I know, that's YOUR (the guy reading this going wtf that's nothing) normal every detonation kill ratio....but for me, it was pretty bad ass. First time I ever nailed 6 at once AND I grabbed me a couple equipment pops lol
so YEAH!

aw yeah but he had a point lol I just didn't think about doing that. It does give better visualization to identify the map and grid where said awesomeness occurred lol |

That was just yesterday.
A few days ago I got like 8+ kills with a Caldari medium suit while camping in the stairwell on one of the new maps.
Of course there are my classic stories of taking out Madrugars with basic locus grenades, Breach SMG's, Breach Shotguns... Etc.
There was also the one time I shot a stationary dropship to death with a MassDriver. And who I ask, could forget the great triumph of shooting a gunner out of a stalking dropship?
Oh, there are so many more tales. Though, those are all for another time.
I think you and I were in that same game...you killed me as I came around the corner. |
